Description

Tibeau stands out for a brutalist yet elegant aesthetic, combining structural strength and perceived softness. The frame is made of solid ash wood stained Coffee Oak, with coordinated headboard and bed surround; the headboard upholstery is available in fabric or leather, and the composition is completed by a matching bench. The result is a striking but balanced bed, ideal for contemporary bedrooms with a strong identity.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
