Description

The Glove-Up chair, designed by Patricia Urquiola, features a metal frame with elastic straps, padded with flexible cold-foam polyurethane and covered with paired velvet and resin. The feet are made of plastic material, and the outer covering is removable, as specified in the attached guidelines. The dimensions of the chair are: height 81.6 cm, width 47 cm, and depth 51.5 cm.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
