Description
Freestyle is a modular system designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2006, offering extensive compositional freedom through the combination of linear and corner elements. The internal structure of the seats is made of solid spruce wood (Picea abies) and particle board panels with elastic straps, while the padding consists of high-resilience polyurethane foam with varying densities, covered in bonded velveteen. Seats are available with or without cushions, the latter filled with polyurethane flakes and sterilized feathers and covered in 100% cotton. The backrests and armrests share the same structure and padding as the seats, with the option of a traditional armrest aligned with the backrest height or a side cushion integrated into the seat. Freestyle also includes trapezoidal end elements and islands, further expanding compositional possibilities. The frame with feet is made of painted metal with adjustable, non-slip plastic tips. The external upholstery is fully removable and available in a variety of fabrics and colors, allowing for contrasting color combinations or more classic monochrome solutions. The system also includes additional backrest cushions in three sizes, freely positionable for personalized comfort. A distinctive detail is the stitching on the front of the seat and armrest, adding an extra touch of elegance to the design. Configurations can feature symmetrical or asymmetrical backrests relative to the seats, with the only constraint being that islands must be paired with seats featuring aligned backrests. Dimensions in centimeters and possible configurations can be consulted in the updated technical sheets, with the company reserving the right to make changes to models without prior notice.
