Description

Tibeau stands out for its sculptural yet discreet presence, combining architectural character and everyday functionality. The body is available in wood veneer or lacquered finishes, with a top in wood veneer or marble depending on the configuration; the construction details are designed to stay consistent with the soft language of the Tibeau bed. Its compact structure makes it well suited to contemporary bedrooms that need order and stylistic continuity.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
