Description

Midday stands out for its simple, balanced architectural language, combining solidity and formal lightness. The structure is available in wood veneer or glossy lacquer, while the top and back panel can be finished in wood, glossy lacquer, or marble depending on the configuration; the legs are coordinated with the chosen finish. The result is a versatile storage piece suited to contemporary interiors that value order and material presence.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
