Description

Infra stands out for an essential yet deeply layered surface, combining softness and visual precision. The rug is entirely hand-tufted in wool, with fleece height of 0.7 / 1.4 cm and colors available in Brown, White Pearl, and Black; the relief structure creates a subtle play of light and shadow that enhances the room. Its discreet, contemporary reading makes it suitable for refined domestic spaces that are easy to coordinate.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
